Formerly known as ECO4 Plus – The scheme has undergone a review and currently going through the final stages in the parliament. The scheme will run from 2023 to 2026 with an anticipated spend of £1 billion in total which will improve around 300,000 homes and is expected to generate around £300-400 a year on average per household. The scheme will operate across Great Britain.
Who will be eligible under the GBIS?
To Qualify for free cavity wall insulation for your home you must meet the following Criteria:
- Your home falls into Council Tax Band A, B, C, or D in England, or A, B, C, D, or E in Wales.
- Your home must have an EPC rating of D, E, F or G
No Recent Upgrades
Confirm that there have been no recent additional works on your home since the last EPC assessment.
